Rasmussen Finds His Flop

Claus Rasmussen opened with a cutoff raise to 11,000. Joel Micka gave him action from the small blind, and it was heads up to the flop.

The dealer spread the first three community cards: {8-Spades}

. Micka checked, allowing Rasmussen to continue out with 18,000 chips. "How much do you have left?" asked Micka.

After roughly counting his chips, Rasmussen responded, "About seventy." With that, Micka check-raised to a total of 60,000, prompting a quick, "All in," from Rasmussen. Micka seemed to know he was beat as he shrugged and put in the additional 40,000 or so for the call.
