Today marks the start of the much anticipated Long Star Poker Series (PSPS) in Houston, Texas hosted at the Houston Champions Poker Club.

This series features 19 events and will culminate in the Main Event from April 27- May 3, which will be the very first $1,000,000 guarantee poker tournament to be held in the Lone Star State.

Kicking off the action today will be the $400 buy-in, $150K GTD Spring Series Kick Off. There will be two opening flights today, Flight A starting at 11 a.m. and Flight B starting at 5 p.m. In total there will be six starting flights over the next three days, with Day 2 starting on Sunday April 18.
