Ju on a Losing Streak
PokerNews joined the action with the pot already at around 40,000, and the flop showing 6?10?4?. Four players were involved, and Azamat Tulepbergenov bet 75,000 after two players checked. Samuel Ju called, as did another player. When the 5? appeared, Tulepbergenov went all in, covering everyone at the table. Ju deliberated for a while but eventually folded, as did the other player.
In the very next hand, Ju raised to 16,000 from the hijack, and the player in the big blind went all in for 68,000. Ju called and revealed Q?J?, slightly surprised to see his opponent's hand with 10?4?.
The flop A?2?3? seemed promising for Ju, but the 10? on the turn changed everything. The 8? on the river provided no help either. Ju doubled up the other player, clearly unhappy about it.
