Schiffman Takes Down A Nice One With No Need for the River

Ron Schiffman raised to 1,500 from under the gun only to face a three-bet to 3,600 from Antonio De La Cruz in the cutoff. Schiffman reached for chips and said, "Alright, I'm gonna gamble with you" as he tossed in the call before watching the flop come 10?9?10?.

Schiffman checked over to De La Cruz who continued with a bet worth 3,900. Schiffman verfied the amount with the dealer before cutting out chips and tossing in a check-raise to 8,000. De La Cruz paused very briefly before making the call to see the J? hit the turn.

Schiffman was quick and decisive in announcing his all-in and physically slamming his 45,400 into the middle. De La Cruz peered at the stack of chips and thought for a moment before deciding to toss his cards in the muck and send the pot in Schiffman's direction.

Michael Wang had lost a few hands and was working off of a short stack when he moved all in from early position for 4,500. It folded all the way to the big blind who called and the cards hit their backs.

The players got an action flop on 4?Q?7? giving Wang a set and the big blind the nuts. The dealer would come through for Wang with the Q? turn helping Wang to fill-up and lock up the win.

Zormpas Bluff Catches His Way to A Big Stack

Christos Zormpas raised to 1,600 from under the gun. The button called before the big blind put in a three-bet to 5,600. Zormpas called and the button got out of the way before seeing the flop come 8?9?10?.

The big blind checked to Zormpas who checked behind to bring out the 2? on the turn.

The big blind quickly tossed out a 10,000 bet and after some deliberation, Zormpas made the call to see the 6? fall on the river.

The big blind wasted little time in jamming for 21,000 which sent Zormpas into a short tank. After about one minute, Zormpas tossed in calling chips and got the, "Good call" from the big blind who turned up the A?K?. Zormpas turned over the J?10? for the correct bluff catch to take down a massive pot.

Action folded to the button who opened to 2,600 before getting called by the small blind and David Stamm in the big blind.

The A?8?6? flop landed and action checked through to a 4? turn. The small blind started with a check and Stamm took a moment before putting out a bet of 6,200. The button folded and then the small blind moved all in for about 11,000. Stamm snap called.

The cards hit their backs.

Small Blind: Q?Q?
David Stamm: 7?5?

"It's my day"

Stamm commented as he was running quite well the past few levels. The 2? river changed nothing and Stamm dragged a healthy pot to move back into a top ten chip position.

On a board reading 2?9?7?J?, Griffin Benger moved all in. His opponent in the hand made a quick call and Benger quickly tabled the K?6? for the second nut flush.

Benger's opponent wasn't quick to turn over his hand, but once he did, Benger locked up the double as his opponent's A?9? was drawing dead headed to the meaningless 5? river.

Mambour Wins Three-Way All In

After significant action there was a three-way all in between an under the gun player, a middle position player, and Didier Mambour in the big blind.

Middle Position: Q?J?
Didier Mambour: 10?Q?
Under the Gun: A?K?

The dealer burned and turned an action flop with something for everyone on 8?K?10?. Mambour was in the lead with his set and the K? rolled off on the turn giving him a full house. The middle position player was then drawing dead but the player under the gun could still fill up. The 7? river would not bring the cooler and Mambour dragged very nice three-way pot to gain new life in the tournament.

On a board reading 3?9?4?K? with three active players, Cody Raymond checked from the small blind before seeing the middle position player bet out for 4,300.

The player in the cutoff called to put action back on Raymond who thought for a moment before tossing in a check-raise to 14,500 which proved to be too much for both his opponent as both hands hit the muck, sending the pot to Raymond uncontested.
