Charlie Chien Eliminated in 15th Place ($4,126)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Charlie Chien
Charlie Chien

Action folded to Alan Gendelman on the button, and he limped in. Then Charlie Chien went all in from the small blind, as did Justin Arnwine in the big blind. Gendelman folded leaving the two players heads up, with Chien at risk.

Charlie Chien: A?7? All in
Justin Arnwine: A?K?

Arnwine had Chien dominated and after the board ran out A?4?A?J?8? Arnwine's trip aces with a king kicker was still best, and Chien was eliminated in 15th place.

Hamid Sepehri raised to 125,000 from the hijack, and when it folded to Joshua Mischel in the big blind, he called all in for less.

Joshua Mischel: K?8? All in
Hamid Sepehri: A?A?

Mischel would need lots of help to crack the aces of Sepehri, but when the board ran out A?3?J?K?2? Sepehri improved to a set, and Mischel was eliminated in 16th place.

James Patterson

James Patterson was short-stacked and all in with just 60,000 in the small blind in a multi-way pot.

Patterson had hopes of running his stack back up, but fell short when his A?2? fell to Alan Gendelman's 8?7? on a board that read 6?3?7?K?J?.

Gendelman's pair of sevens ended Patterson's impressive tournament run.

Sepehri Doubles with Quad Aces

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Hamid Sepehri raised to 100,000 from early position, before Lara Eisenberg three-bet to 300,000 in the cutoff. Michael Zazzera called on the button, and when it folded back to Sepehri, he announced all in for 1,255,000. Eisenberg folded, and Zazzera called to put Sepehri at risk.

Hamid Sepehri: A?A? All in
Michael Zazzera: J?J?

Sepehri woke up with aces and was in a great spot to double up. When the board ran out 6?A?K?A?10? Sepehri improved to quad aces and secured the double up.
