Hellmuth Upset with Baldwin

The board read {Q-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} between recent bracelet winner Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin and eleven-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth. Baldwin fired a bet of 8,700 and Hellmuth made the call. Hellmuth had been very respectful all day of Baldwin's play and even mentioned that he could be one of the best in the world if he plays as well as he has during this tournament all the time.

After the river fell the {4-Hearts}, Baldwin fired 10,200. Hellmuth made the call as Layne Flack watched over his shoulder. Baldwin turned over {8-Diamonds} {5-Spades} and Hellmuth shot up out of his chair with his cards in hand. He shuffled them back and forth, showing Flack that he held {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}. "I almost moved in on the turn." he said.

Hellmuth mucked and as the pot was pushed towards Baldwin he said, "I've waited all day to play a pot with you, all day."

Hellmuth dropped to 35,000 while Baldwin moved up to 300,000.
