Sudworth Pegging Geshkenbein Back...

The blinds go up to 600/1,200 and Sudworth minraises to 2,400 after Geshkenbein limps, the Russian still calls.

The flop is {J-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} and Sudworth bets 2,200. Geshkenbein calls but both check the {5-Diamonds} turn.

The river is the {Q-Spades} and Sudworth bets 5,600. Geshkenbein shows the {6-Spades} and folds, Sudworth shows the {10-Diamonds}.

James States The Obvious...

Sudworth raises to 2,200 blind. Geshkenbein moves all-in. Blind.

They get their cards and Geshkeinbein declares he has a good hand.

Sudworth peels one and sees the {J-Hearts} but he throws it in the muck when he sees the {5-Clubs}. Geshkeinbein shows him the {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs}.

"We're not really playing poker are we?" states Sudworth.

Who Needs To See Both Their Cards?

Geshkenbein and Sudworth both looked at one card. Geshkenbein limped in but then Sudworth minraised, the Russian called.

The flop came {9-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {5-Clubs} and Geshkenbein said, "I have at least a pair."

Sudworth, "Well, I've got a set."

"But you only looked at one card..."

"I know."

Sudworth bet 3,200 and Geshkenbein called. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and both players looked at their cards, Sudworth now bet 6,800 and Geshkenbein folded.

Sudworth showed the {5-Spades}.

Sudworth Shows 8-High

James Sudworth has picked up a few chips back, check-raising the turn of a {2-?} {4-?} {K-?} {10-?} board before betting 10,100 on the {J-?} river.

Geshkenbein folded after some thought but then Sudworth showed him {8-?} {7-?} for absolute air.

Fast And Furious

The hand count is going up quickly here, there's little dwelling as the players are having more fun chatting than thinking so far.

Last few hands:

Sudworth raises to 2,000 but folds to a reraise to 6,200. Geshkenbein shows the {Q-Clubs}

Geshkenbein declares, "I have one good one and one bad one, and limps in. Sudworth immediately raises to 3,000 and Geshkenbein folds.

Sudworth, "You fish!"

Sudworth raises to 2,000 and Geshbein quickly calls. Both check the {Q-Spades} {6-Hearts} {4-Hearts} flop before Sudworth bets 5,200 into the 4,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn.

"You've overbet there, see what you've done?" says Vladmir.

"Uh-oh..." replies Sudworth with a slight hint of mock-upsetness.

Vladmir shows the {6-Clubs} and folds before picking out Sudwoth's card, it's the {7-Clubs}.

Sudworth whispers to the rail loudly, "He folded the best hand, he's not a very good player..."

Biggest Pot So Far...

Sudworth raised to 2,100 and Geshkenbein called.

The flop was {Q-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} and Geshkenbein check-raised Sudworth's 2,800 flop bet to 8,000. Sudworth called and then called 5,000 more on the {K-Diamonds} turn.

The river was the {2-Spades} and Geshkenbein accidently string-bet and only bet out 22,000 into the 50,000 pot. Sudworth folded but got to see Geshkenbein's {9-Diamonds}...

Bantertastic

Sudworth and Geshkenbein are fairly good friends so there's a lot of banter going on at the moment. They're also playing the 'win a pot, show a card' game from before.

Sudworth raised to 2,100 and Geshkenbein called. Both checked the {Q-Clubs} {8-Spades} {4-Spades} board before Sudworth's 3,000 bet on the {K-Clubs} turn took it down.

Geshkenbein picked out one of Sudworth's cards and saw the {K-Hearts}

The Name's Kremser, Thomas Kremser...

Thomas Kremser told us a funny story at the break. He was apparently the original person asked to be the dealer at the crucial poker game in the James Bond film Casino Royale.

However it clashed with two tournaments he was doing and a skiing holiday and Thomas did not know how crucial the dealer role actually was. He ended up passing it on to the Casino in Vienna which is how the dealer from that casino got the role.

However, we can't confirm that there are deleted scenes of Thomas being the Tournament Director of the Casino Royale tournament and then giving James Bond a warning for slowrolling in the final hand.
