Stefan Mattsson raised from the small blind and Jan Skampa called in the big. A flop ensued.

Mattsson checked, and then called 240,000 from Skampa.

Turn: {9-Clubs}

Mattsson checked again, and this time called 550,000 from Skampa. Curious.

River: {10-Clubs}

Mattsson checked a third time, and this time Skampa checked behind. "You have a ten, right?" grinned Skampa. "ARGH!" said Mattsson, turning over {9-Spades}

for a full house as Skampa mucked.

Roux Rebounding

Jan Skampa made it 140,000 to play, and Anthony Roux wanted to play for more. He announced a raise, then shoved his entire stack forward. It was exactly 1,000,000 to Skampa, and he didn't waste any time making the call with his massive stack.

First in from the button, Anthony Roux limped for 60,000, and both blinds came along for a cheap/free flop.

It brought {J-Diamonds}

. Small blind Stefan Mattsson led out with 110,000 chips, Jan Skampa folded, and Roux called. Fourth street was the {J-Spades}

, and it brought the big action. Mattsson fired 270,000 more, and Roux sat statue-still. After a moment, he made a raise, Mattsson instantly moved all in, and Roux instantly called for his own tournament life.

There were a lot of chop outs, but Roux's kicker had him in the lead with a chance to double up. He'd need only to fade an eight to stay alive. The river was rather anti-climactic; the {Q-Diamonds}

Skampa Doubles Through Mattsson

The crowd presses in on the table as Skampa is all in

Stefan Mattsson raised to 135,000 from the button, but Jan Skampa in the small blind liked his hand enough to make it 405,000 to go. Back to Mattsson, who raised to a million, which must have been fun to announce to the table. Back to Skampa, who veyr quickly announced all in, and back again to Mattsson, who called very quickly.
