An Ace, Bro

A player opens the action with a raise to 13,000 in early position. Looking down at {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} on the button, Patrice Sitbon reraises to 40,000. Next to act is Patryk Hildebranski in the small blind, and he comes back over the top, moving all in for a total of 228,500. The original raiser folds. Sitbon asks for a full count, and as soon as he learns the number, he immediately makes the call. Hildebranski tables {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}, and is in bad shape for his tournament life.

Patryk looks at the dealer and asks him, "You have an ace, bro?" Sure enough, the dealer obliges and spreads out {A-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {2-Hearts} on the flop, pushing Hildbranski into the lead. Even better, fourth street is the {A-Spades}, locking up the pot and doubling the young player up to about 475,000. "Thank you, mister dealer," he says as he begins to re-stack his chips.

Sitbon, meanwhile, has taken two big hits in the last five minutes, and he has fallen back under the half-million mark.
