The chips were flying in the 101,000 Super High Roller in level eight, as the late registration was extended until the end of level nine, and several short stacks were trying to run it up or buy back in with 1,000,000 in chips. Leon Tsoukernik busted for a second time and Daniel Dvoress had his kings cracked by the pocket tens of Seth Davies, the latter flopped a set and the chips went in after the turn of a queen high board.

The partypoker representatives were involved into the action as well. Jason Koon check-raised a flop of {K-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} flop out of the big blind and fired pot size for 600,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn, Jan Eric Schwippert called on the button. Koon jammed on the {5-Diamonds} river and Schwippert could not find the fold with aces, then mucked when Koon flipped over {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for trips fives. Right after, Isaac Haxton ran out of chips with {K-Spades}{J-Spades} against the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} of Seth Davies in the big blind and re-entered.

Sean Winter was eliminated as well and Timothy Adams followed him to the rail, but he opted to fire the second entry. The 51,000 Super High Roller third-place finisher Patrik Antonius joined the action on the first bullet. Sam Greenwood, who took a break after winning the very same event earlier today, failed in his first attempt towards the end of level nine. He took a flip with {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and Koon looked him up with {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}, the board came {K-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and the set on the turn vaulted Koon to 6.6 million on his second bullet.

Two other side events and two satellites are currently ongoing. The 2,700 Warm Up, in which partypoker team pro Kristen Bicknell bubbled, is on dinner break with 67/749 players remaining and the 1,100 Open Event is down to 14 hopefuls. Marius Pertea and partypoker team online's Dayane Kotoviezy were part of a double elimination when both held ace-king, Portugal's Alexandre Mendes held up with pocket jacks. Mendes is among the chip leaders, other notables include short stack Ludovic Geilich, Christophe de Meulder, Micky Blasi, Joey Weissman and Jeremy Palvini.
