The 2017 partypoker LIVE Million Germany €2,200 High Roller at King's Casino Rozvadov saw 48 players return to the tables out of a 65-player field to start Day 2. Registration remained open for another three levels of play, and during that period an additional 35 entrants and re-entries boosted the total attendance to 100 entries in total exactly meeting the guarantee.

The prize pool was to be shared among the top 10 spots and at 1"15 a.m. local time the remaining six hopefuls called it quits to bag up for the night and add an extra day to the schedule in order to determine the champion. Partypoker Ambassador Anatoly Filatov will be the man to beat when play resumes tomorrow, as the Russian had 2.6 million chips in front of him when the dust settled on Day 2. Right behind him is Serbia's Aleksandar Tomovic who bagged and tagged 2,475,000 while Boris Kotleba from Slovakia rounds out the top-3 with 2,060,000.

The remaining players still in contention for the title and the €60,000 first prize are Kacper Pyzara (1,360,000), Andre Haneberg (1,000,000) and Hoa Bui Chi (550,000).

Among the early casualties after the re-entry period closed with the conclusion of level 10 was partypoker Ambassador Jan-Peter Jachtmann, who ran pocket queens into the aces of Jurgen Kracht. Not long after the former EPT Grand Final champion, Jan Bendik, was eliminated in the hands of Slovakian countryman Boris Kotleba when his pocket pair of treys did not improve against Kotleba's queens.

When the remaining 16 players were redrawn for the final two tables, the pace of play slowed down considerably, Former chip leader Norbert Berent had seen his stack slowly dwindling away, and he exited in 15h place after putting his short stack at risk with seven-eight against the king-queen of Andre Haneberg. A few minutes later Ognjen Sekularac hit the rail when he ran tens into aces before the eliminations abruptly came to an end for more than an hour of play.

When it finally picked up again, Czech Flowermann3 was sent packing in 13th, as was Jurgen Kracht in 12th. Despite an average stack of a mere 22 big blinds, the bubble play dragged on for more than an hour with multiple short stacks finding crucial doubles. In the end, it was Lukas Soucek to get the painful privilege of becoming bubble boy. Soucek got his last two big blinds and change in with ace-trey suited but didn't get there against the sevens of Filatov.

With the elimination of Germany's Advokat in 10th place, the remaining players were redrawn onto the unofficial final table of nine, and that got things rolling. Within 30 minutes Florian Bach had exited in ninth when his ace-queen couldn't connect against the queens of Tomovic, Polish player Prezes was sent packing when Tomovic shortly after rivered a straight and ultimately Josef Gulas was eliminated when Filatov's sixes held up all-in preflop against the queen-deuce of his opponent.
