Ryan Hagerty
Ryan Hagerty

In Level 20 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and an ante of 1,250, "Ozzy_Rocks111" opened to 24,000 under the gun and action folded around to Ryan simlSgg Hagerty on the button, who three-bet jammed for 174,000. Chris rumpthumper White came over the top in the small blind for 328,000 and "Hanadog9" called all in from the big blind for 243,000. "Ozzy_Rocks111"

Ryan simlSgg Hagerty: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Hanadog9: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Chris rumpthumper White: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

White had a shot at a double-knockout but picked up a huge sweat on the flop {7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts} as "Hanadog9" flopped a nut flush draw with a chance at a near-triple. However, the turn {j-Spades} and river {5-Clubs} proved to be safe for White and he sent the pair of ace-kings packing to bring the number of players in the field from seven down to five in the matter of one hand.

Michael Wang
Michael Wang

In Level 19 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and an ante of 1,250, Michael "miw210x" Wang jammed for 82,000 under the gun and received action from Ozzy_Rocks111, who was on the button.

Michael "miw210x" Wang: {k-Spades}{7-Spades}
Ozzy_Rocks111: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Wang was not in trouble for long as the flop {k-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Clubs} put one of the three outs he needed on board. He held through the turn {3-Hearts} and the river {6-Hearts} and shipped a much-needed double as a result.

"Doni34" Bubbles Event #5

"Doni34"
"Doni34"

In Level 19 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and an ante of 1,250, action folded around to the small blind where "Doni34" committed their last 37,000 and received a call from "Standoff23" in the big blind.

"Doni34": {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
"Standoff23": {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

"Doni34" was ahead but the flop {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} changed that, giving "Standoff23" a pair of queens. The turn {3-Diamonds} gave "Doni34" a pair of treys and added two outs to their river total, but they all bricked as {10-Hearts} completed the runout to result in their eighth-place finish in the tournament, becoming the bubble finisher as a result.

"TheTerminator1" Runs Out of Chips

"TheTerminator1"
"TheTerminator1"

In Level 19 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and an ante of 1,250, "TheTerminator1" shoved for their last 18,000 in middle position and received four calls. All four callers checked through the flop {6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} to bring the turn {2-Hearts}.

Chris "rumpthumper" White bet 31,000 in the small blind and everybody else in the pot folded.

"TheTerminator1": {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Chris "rumpthumper" White: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}

"TheTerminator1" was still alive with six outs for the shot at quintupling, but the river {5-Diamonds} instead gave White a straight and eliminated "TheTerminator1" in ninth place.

Eight players now remain, and just one more elimination is needed before the magic number of seven is reached to make the money.

David "TheKing411" Coleman Talks About Big partypoker US Network WPT Online Poker Open Win

At the beginning of July, the partypoker US Network in New Jersey reached a sizzling conclusion when the WPT Online Poker Open, which combined fields from partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker crowned a winner. The Main Event drew a field of 868 entries, generating a lofty $317,540 prize pool which surpassed its $300k guarantee. It marked the largest ever event for the New Jersey online poker network surpassing the $302,100 prize pool for the $320 buy-in partypoker US Network $250K GTD back on March 29.

In the end, it was David "TheKing411" Coleman who emerged victorious for a payday of $56,586. In addition to the first-place prize, he also earned a WPT Championship Trophy and an $11,000 prize package which includes entry into the next WPT in-person live event, the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, which will take place at Bellagio in Las Vegas ($10,400 buy-in), as well as $600 in cash towards travel expenses.

David Coleman spoke to PokerNews about the win.

Another Double

"Ozzy_Rocks111"
"Ozzy_Rocks111"

In Level 18 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an ante of 1,000, "Ozzy_Rocks111" jammed for 79,000 in early position and "Doni34" re-jammed for 153,431 from their direct left, prompting all remaining players to fold.

"Ozzy_Rocks111": {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
"Doni34": {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop {k-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades} gave both players a pair of queens and left "Ozzy_Rocks111" with two chances left at a ten to stay alive. They would only need one as the turn {10-Spades} gave them two pair, and they faded the 10 outer on the river {3-Clubs} to stay alive and leave "Doni34" as the shortest stack in the tournament.

"Hanadog9"

In Level 18 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an ante of 1,000, "Hanadog9" open-limped in the hijack and action folded around to "TheTerminator1" in the big blind, who jammed to put "Hanadog9" all in for 69,000 effective. "Hanadog9" thought for about 15 seconds and then clicked the call button.

"Hanadog9": {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
"TheTerminator1": {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

"Hanadog9" found their call to be the correct one and the runout {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} rewarded them with a double.
