Event #4: $10,000 GTD PLO 6-Max Rebuy

Day 1 Completed

"Vmasi1" Claims PartyPoker US Network Online Series Event #4: $10,000 GTD PLO Six-Max Rebuy For $4,000

"Vmasi1" is the newest crowned champion of the PartyPoker US Network Online Series after they defeated "SuppppaStar" heads up and topped a field 49 entrants early Tuesday morning to win Event #4: $10,000 GTD PLO Six-Max for $4,000.

A late registration and rebuy period of more than two-and-a-half hours were available, ultimately closing with 15 rebuys that were punctuated by 17 add-ons from the 24 players still in contention when the add-on period closed.

The event marked the first HIGH stakes PLO tournament and it began with only seven players. Eventually, the tournament gradually gained more players up until registration closed in Level 19. From there, play continued for almost nine full levels before the tournament to reach its final table.

Final Table Action

The final table started off with a quick elimination with "DylDyl" taking their exit in sixth place. The next elimination would take place almost four levels later after "SuppppaStar" flopped the nuts, cracking "Godzilla's" pocket aces to send them out in fifth place.

Chips continued to shuffle around the table for the next three levels until "Bagels" cowboys were cracked by soon to be champ "Vsmai1" after they flopped the nut straight.

The final two eliminations happened in quick succession after "KNIEM7's" two-pair was turned by "SuppppaStar's" flush to send them out in third place.

Once heads-up action began it only took one hand as "SuppppaStar" suffered the same fate as they were flushed out on the turn ending their tournament in second place.

"SuppppaStar" Eliminated In 2nd Place ($2,150)

In the very last hand of Level 36 with blinds at 9,000/18,000, "SuppppaStar" got their remaining 371,016 stack in the middle after a {k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop and "Vmasi1" called.

"Vmsai1": {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
"SuppppaStar": {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}

"SuppppaStar" was ahead until the {8-Diamonds} appeared on the turn giving "Vmasi1" the flush and "SuppppaStar" was eliminated in second place after the {9-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

"KNIEM7" Eliminated In 3rd Place ($1,400)

In Level 36 with blinds at 9,000/18,000, "SuppppaStar" opened for 48,000 on the button and "KNIEM7" called from the small blind.

As soon as the {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop appeared, "KNIEM7" fired out 150,000 and was quickly called by "SuppppaStar".

The {k-Hearts} turn put three hearts on the board but that didn't stop "KNIEM7" from moving all in for 265,032 and they were snap-called by "SuppppaStar".

"KNIEM7": {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}
"SuppppaStar": {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

"KNIEM7" turned two-pair but "SuppppaStar" held the better hand with the flush as "KNIEM7" needed to a king or eight to fall on the river to stay alive.

Unfortunately for "KNIEM7", the river was the {4-Diamonds} ending their run in third place.

In Level 35 with blinds at 8,000/16,000, "Bagels" was all in preflop for 69,330 from the small blind and was called by "Vmasi1" from the big blind.

"Bagels": {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
"Vmasi1": {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}

"Bagels" was ahead until the {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop dropped giving "Vmasi1" the nut staright.

The {j-Clubs} didn't change anything and "Bagels" was eliminated after the {10-Spades} completed the board on the river.
