This Could Get Messy
We just spotted a table with four familiar faces, all of which are highly accomplished and not afraid to play big pots. Chris Oliver made name for himself at the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event when he finished second for $1.8 million, and on top of that he has a ton of online tournament winnings.
Chino Rheem has over $7.2 million in live tournament earnings including two WPT titles and a seventh place in the World Series of Poker Main Event for $1.7 million back in 2008.
Chris Moorman surpassed the $10 million in online lifetime earnings this past September, and he also has just shy of three million in live earnings. Moorman's best live result was a runner-up finish in the 2011 WSOPE Main Event for 800,000.
Canadian Jonathan Roy won WPT Montreal in 2012 for $777,903 and last year he came very close to taking down the PCA Main Event. Roy finished fourth for $560,000 and his results over the past 14 months have been nothing short of amazing.
Also at this table is Matt 'Plattsburgh' Vengrin, a very accomplished online player came close to winning a WSOP bracelet in the 2008 $3,000 No Limit Hold'em event for $167,973.
Last but not least we also spotted Byron Kaverman who won the 2011 $5,000 8-Max tournament at the PCA. That win for $320,840 is Kaverman's biggest score to date and he added another big score this past summer when he came in 34th in the WSOP Main Event for $229,281.
There you have it, an entire table full of top notch pros looking to claim PCA fame. The PCA Main Event is one of the highest rated tournaments in the world and for good reason, because you're definitely not going to have an easy time battling against all the professionals.
