Dattani Finds Aces and Pulls Even With Martirosian

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Michel Dattani
Michel Dattani

The action commenced with an open raise to 225,000 by Michel Dattani with the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} in the cutoff and Pedro Neves flat-called on the button with the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Artur Martirosian called in the big blind with {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and hit top pair on the {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop.

Martirosian checked and Dattani continued for 350,000, while Neves reluctantly folded but Martirosian called. The remaining two players headed to the {k-Diamonds} turn and Martirosian instantly checked.

That prompted a second barrel for 875,000 and Martirosian came along to create a pot of more than three million in chips.

Nothing changed on the {9-Diamonds} river and Martirosian checked after a couple of seconds, Dattani instantly checked and won the pot.
