Lee Busts Toeh to Burst Bubble
Je Ho Lee is playing tournament executioner at the moment and it seemed fitting that the man who brought the 36 remaining players up to the bubble was also the man to pop it.
While some of the more deep-stacked players might have wished for the bubble to go on forever, the fields short stacks can now all breath a big sigh of relief.
It was Lee who was the instigator, making it 50,000 from early position and Malaysias Paul Toeh defended from the big blind to take pay heads-up to a flop of .
Toeh checked the action over to Lee, who casually tossed out a bet of 55,000 and Teoh re-checked his cards before choosing to check-raise to 130,000 in total. Lee moved all-in as soon as Teohs raise was across the line and Toeh called immediately.
There was an excruciating five minute wait for Toeh to discover his fate while the hands played out on the other three tables before, finally it was showtime.

Toeh was the at-risk player but had hit top pair so just needed to fade an ace, or so he thought. The turn was a very sweaty and you just knew what was going to happen next. The river completed the Koreans backdoor flush and guarantee the 35 remaining players an HK$50,900 payday and Lee stacked up to 2.55 million while the unlucky Toeh headed for the rail empty-handed.
