Double for Sarmiento
Both Italy's Mauro Francolini and Spain's Diego Sarmiento are left in the running, adding some international flair to a field full of players from the Asia-Pacific region. Francolini is sitting on a stack of 350,000 presently, and Sarmiento now has more chips with which to attempt his Main Event victory, courtesy of tablemate Jian Han.
It was a battle of the blinds, with Sarmiento moving all-in for close to 240,000 or so from the small blind and the action was on Han in the big blind. The Chinese player did not take long to announce the call and the cards were revealed.

Sarmiento held a narrow lead, pairing his six on the monochrome . However, with the in hand, Han was drawing extremely live.
"I don't know if I can win on this flop..." said Sarmiento pessimistically, getting to his feet. The Spaniard needn't have worried though, with the turn and bricking out to grant him a much-needed double and he climbed to 500,000, while Han dropped to 640,000.
