Steffen Sontheimer came along from the big blind holding the {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and three players took a flop of {3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, which they all checked.

When the {4-Spades} appeared on the turn, Sontheimer led out for 55,000 and both his opponents folded.

Event #2: $50,000 NLHE of the Poker Masters at the ARIA Resort and Casino began with 50 entrants, but today only seven return for Day 2 action with Christian Christner leading the way.

The other final tablists include none other than Phil Hellmuth, Fedor Holz, Bryn Kenney and Tom Marchese. Also there are Steffen Sontheimer and Adrian Mateos, who both made their second straight Poker Masters final table.

Mateos and Sontheimer can overtake Nick Schulman for first place in the race for The Poker Masters Purple Jacket. Schulman sits atop the leaderboard with his win in Event #1 for $918,000. The winner of Eevent #2 will take home $900,000 even and the final tablists are all guaranteed $125,000.

The player with the best results (highest total earnings) throughout all five Poker Masters tournaments �C remember the finale is a $100,000 freezeout �C will be deemed champion and awarded The Poker Masters Purple Jacket?.
