Broadway for Marchese, Schein Eliminated
Alan Schein was left with just a few chips and found himself all in preflop holding against three players.
The flop was checked through to see the land on the turn as the preflop aggressor Tom Marchese bet out 5,000. Doug Polk folded in the small blind, but Stephen Chidwick in the big blind called.
The river landed the , and after a check by Chidwick, Marchese bet 14,000 and Chidwick folded.
Although Schein had vacated the tournament area, his hand was tabled to reveal just ten-high, and Marchese revealed his for king-high to win the pot.
Speaking to Marchese, he informed us that he made a Broadway straight, and on the river Schein shoved all-in and Marchese called with the nuts. Schein declined to show, and following that hand and the following elimination, he was headed to the cage to re-enter.
