Uzi Gunned Down

So good they named him twice, Bessi Bessy raised to 2,000 from the cutoff, only for the equally delightfully monikered Uzi Gellman to reraise to a suspicious-looking 4,000 total from the button. Bessy raised an eyebrow, and flat called.

Flop: {6-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {8-Spades}

Bessy announced all in for 7,725 and Gellman INSTA-called; on their backs.

Bessy: {7-Clubs} {8-Clubs}
Gellman: {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}

Turn: {4-Diamonds}

River: {9-Hearts}

Credit to Snoopy for the headline, so that he doesn't beat me when we get home.

Vos Hits the Mark

Mark Vos
Mark Vos
Jonas Danielsson raised to 2,000 from UTG only for Mark Vos to push all in for circa 15,000 from the button. Danielsson called.

Danielsson = {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Vos = {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

As the river of an {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs} board hit the felt, Daniellsson said a naughty 'f' word, but, even in his anger, was polite enough to abide by the 'English only at the table' rule.

Whilst Vos jumps up to the 30,000 plus mark, Danielsson is down to just 550, and may require some words of wisdom from Mr Miyagi.

Pols Position

On a {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, three players saw a 10,000 plus pot after putting 3,000 each in the middle. Button Roberto Siegel refused to make it four and folded for the extra 2,000.

A ragtastic {2-Clubs} turn led to a check, check, bet from Richard Pols who led for 7,000. Steiner called all in for 5,300 from the small blind and the other player folded.

Pols = {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Steiner = {J-Spades}{5-Clubs}

An academic {2-Hearts} on the river and Steiner was gone. Pols, meanwhile, appears to be challenging for the chip lead, although I was unable to count his stack as he raked in the pot.

G Up!

Oh deary me, it's as though Tony G spent this morning making bizarre and extravagant sacrifices to the poker gods.

Tony G: {K-Spades} {2-Spades}
Ralf Steiner: {A-Hearts} {7-Spades}

Mark Vos: "On yer bike, right?"

Board: {4-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {10-Spades} {9-Hearts} {J-Clubs}

Unbelievable. Tony G is our new chip leader with over 35,000.
