Kenney Takes Back the Lead

Level 22 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Bryn Kenney raised his button to 260,000 and Mustapha Kanit called. Kanit check-called 220,000 on {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and another 545,000 on the {5-Spades} turn. The river came the {Q-Spades} and Kanit checked. Kenney shoved all in for over the size of the pot and Kanit tanked long and hard before he decided not to risk his 2,360,000 stack.

"You want to see?" Kenney asked Kanit after the latter had already mucked.

"Why not?" Kanit said as he took a peek.

After having seen the cards he said something to the effect of "Damn it!" as he tossed Kenney's cards into the muck, not revealing to the onlookers what his opponent had.
