Dvoress Sinks Karam on the River

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Byron Kaverman raised to 4,500 from under the gun and Daniel Dvoress called from the cutoff.

Fernando Karam was in the small blind and three-bet to 16,000. Kaverman thought for a while and eventually decided to fold.

Dvoress had a look at Karam's stack and eventually moved all in for about 60,000. Karam called for less.

Dvoress: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Karam: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, giving Dvoress some outs to make a straight, in addition to having two over cards.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}, and Dvoress was left with an open-ended straight draw after Karam turned a set.

The river was the {k-Diamonds} to give Dvoress a straight, sending Karam to the rail.
