Moneymaker "Soul Owned" by Vlachas
Team PokerStars Pro Chris Moneymaker has played his last hand in the PokerStars Festival Bucharest Main Event. It was his Greek left-hand neighbor Andreas Vlachas who was responsible for Moneymaker's exit.
With a big grin on his face, Vlachas told PokerNews how the hand proceeded.
"After the flop came down , Moneymaker bet 2,200 in 18,000 and I called with . We both checked the on the turn.
On the river, the paired the board and Moneymaker went all in for 17,000. I thought for ten seconds and made the call. He [Moneymaker] showed for ace-high."
The 2003 World Champion, who tweeted earlier that it was the craziest table he's ever been on, tweeted his bustout hand shortly after.
