"Bukstabu686" Out in Ninth; Hand-for-Hand Play Resumes

"Buckstabu686"
"Buckstabu686"

In Level 22 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and an ante of 1,250, "Buckstabu686" jammed for 82,463 on the button and was called by "Surge_Ibaka" in the small blind.

"Buckstabu686": {5-Spades}{2-Spades}
"Surge_Ibaka": {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

"Buckstabu686" was drawing dead by the turn as the board ran out {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, ultimately seeing their pair of deuces fall to top set of kings to result in their elimination from the tournament in ninth place.

With eight players left, hand-for-hand play is back in effect as the bubble has been reached for the soon-to-be seven-handed final table.

"HeyLookItsTez" Knocks Out Two more; Nine Remain (full)

"HeyLookItsTez"
"HeyLookItsTez"

Hand #1: On the last hand of Level 21 (4,000/8,000/1,000), "PowerRanges" raised to 16,000 in the hijack and "vikmod" called on the button. "HeyLookItsTez" defended their big blind, and the three saw a flop of {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

"HeyLookItsTez" checked and "PowerRanges" continuation-bet 20,000. "vikmod" raised to 118,000 and "HeyLookItsTez" check-jammed for 306,576. "PowerRanges" folded and "vikmod" called all in for less.

"vikmod": {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
"HeyLookItsTez": {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}

The turn {7-Spades} gave "vikmod" two more outs to double, but the river {3-Diamonds} failed to complete and resulted in their elimination from the tournament.

Hand #2 On the adjacent table as blinds rose to Level 22 (5,000/10,000/1,250), a three-way all-in ensued with "Orlimar17" at risk with a chance to triple. "barry20sanders" was also all in, and "Buckstabu686" had both players covered with the best hand.

"Orlimar17": {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
"barry20sanders": {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
"Buckstabu686": {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

"barry20sanders" found an ace on the flop {6-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades} to pull ahead, where they remained through the turn {9-Spades} and river {3-Diamonds} to more than double, sending "Orlimar17" out in 11th along the way.

Hand #3: Back to the first table, "HeyLookItsTez" raised to 20,000 in the cutoff and "Gamestop2012" re-jammed on the button for 279,366, which "HeyLookItsTez" called once it became their turn to do so.

"Gamestop2012": {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
"HeyLookItsTez": {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

"Gamestop2012" found themselves on the wrong end of the coinflip, unable to catch an ace or queen on the runout {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Spades} to result in a third elimination in rapid-fire succession, bringing the field down to nine.

In Level 20 with blinds of 3,500/7,000 and an ante of 875, Matthew "ProfitablePloof" Ploof opened to 16,100 on the button and saw "PowerRanges" three-bet shove in the big blind to put them to a decision for their remaining 86,631, which they immediately called off.

Matthew "ProfitablePloof" Ploof: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
"PowerRanges": {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Ploof pulled even further ahead on the flop {6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} but the turn {j-Diamonds} gave him four Broadway outs to sweat on the river. However, the prettiest card in the deck {a-Spades} fell to complete the runout and Ploof scored the easy double.

Meanwhile, "gets2u1975" and "MrDogg313" were eliminated in 14th and 13th places, respectively, and two tables now remain with just 12 still in contention.

"PowerRanges" Cracks Aces To Burst the Bubble

"freebrit"
"freebrit"

In Level 18 with blinds of 2,500/5,000 and an ante of 625, "freebrit" open-jammed on the button for 71,223 and received action from "PowerRanges" in the small blind.

"freebrit": {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
"PowerRanges": {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

"freebrit" had their sights set on a double through the flop {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs} and turn {10-Hearts}, but the river {8-Hearts} spelled disaster, giving "PowerRanges" a full house and eliminating them as the official bubble finisher in 20th place.

All 19 remaining players are now officially in the money.
