PACOOP Event #49: $1,000 PKO High Roller Championship Kicks Off at 7 p.m. ET

PACOOP 2023
PACOOP 2023

Action in the 2023 Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker (PACOOP) continues to press on with a slate of events running through October 2nd accompanying a total guarantee of $2,500,000. Several high roller events have already been played out but Event #49: $1,000 PKO High Roller Championship should be a particularly exciting one with a $100,000 guaranteed prizepool.

The tournament gets underway today, September 24th at 7 p.m. ET and at the time of writing, 15 entries have been recorded. Those who pay up the $1,000 entry fee start with 50,000 in tournament chips and blinds beginning at 125/250 with a 30 ante. Each level will last 12-minutes and the late registration period will remain open until 10.15 p.m. ET. Anyone who is eliminated during that time will have the option to re-enter up to 3 times.

Even those who ultimately fall short of the money will have the opportunity to record some kind of score as this is a progressive bounty tournament, meaning that the buy-in will be equally divided between the regular and bounty prizepools. The bounty element should make for fast action from the start and create interesting dynamics towards the end of the tournament as the value of the bounties become more significant.
