On Sunday, the 2021 Pennsylvania Spring Championship of Online Poker (PASCOOP) continued with Event #20-H: $200 NLHE (Sunday Special SE) $100K GTD.
Registration closed with 361 unique players rebuying 237 times for a total field of 598 entries. That surpassed the $100K guarantee by generating a $111,228 prize pool that was paid out to the top 89 finishers.
After nearly nine hours of play, "jbrink22" walked away as the last player standing to capture a $17,737.55 top prize. It marked the second title of the series for "jbrink22", who back on Friday, April 23 topped a 195-entry field to win 14-H: $50+R NLHE [Rebuy], $20K GTD for $3,970.31.
Heads-up play began with ��jbrink22�� holding a near 2:1 chip lead against ��thpinal��, but the latter managed to battle back to even stacks before the tournament was paused to discuss a deal that was ultimately agreed upon, one that left $2,000 and the title on the line.
The two jostled back and forth for a while before ��jbrink22�� flopped trip fours and got value each street against ��thpinal��, who had pocket eights. The last of the chips went in on the river and ��thpinal�� had to settle for second place.
