Confusion Gifts Phelps Double
Dean Phelps moved all in for around 50,000 from middle position and was called by the player on the button. Phelps, though ahead, did not hold a dominant lead over his opponent, needing to fade two live cards. The did give him a wheel and flush draw to take away some of his opponent's outs before the turn vaulted the button player into the lead. Needing to hit a four, heart or ace on the river to avoid elimination in one of the more sickening ways imaginable, he was able to do just that as the rolled off the deck.
