Day 2 of the RGPS Bay Area Main Kicks off at 11 a.m. with Paul Serrate in the Lead

Welcome to Day 2 finale of the $600 Main Event at the Bay Area stop of the RunGood Poker Series(RGPS). Cards go in the air at 11 a.m. local time for the final day in the flagship event.

The tournament drew 1,114 players and generated a prize pool of $594,880. It is the first time in RGPS history that an event drew more than 1,000 players, and 114 runners will return to play for the top prize of $100,070. All returning players are guaranteed a min-cash of $800.

Paul Serrate is the overall chip leader after he finished with 736,000 in the last of four opening flights. He��s followed closely by Day 1b chip leader Tony Wasaya. Nick Scalise begins Day 2 in the third position on the leaderboard after he finished just behind Serrate on Day 1d. Day 1c chip leader Shaun Van Daele and Day 1a chip leader Igor Sorokin round out the top five.

RGPS is wrapping up its first event at Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park, California. before the tour will continue on to Cleveland from September 22-October 2. After Cleveland, RGPS stops in Tunica, Tulsa, and Council Bluffs, Iowa. The remainder of the season for RunGood includes a CardPlayer cruise and a stop in San Diego before the $1,000,000 Season Finale at Thunder Valley in Lincoln, California.

Players will return in Level 16 with blinds at 5,000/10,000/10,000 and 28:30 left on the clock. Levels will increase every 30 minutes on Day 2 until a winner is declared.
