Bryant and Adcock Lead The 21 Survivors of Flight 1A; Le and Keathley make Day 2
The first flight of the RunGood Poker Series Tunica $600 Main Event has come to a close at Horseshoe Tunica Hotel and Casino. A total of 176 entrants fired their shot to make the second day and the money, but only 22 had their dreams realized.
Jessie Bryant holds the chip lead with 915,000. Bryant began stacking chips late at night and won a massive pot near the bubble when he called off his opponent with tens and held against the ace-eight suited for a 300,000 chip pot. Coming in just behind him is Joshua Adcock with 854,000. Adcock was at the top of the chip counts most of the day and won a crucial pot at the end of the night with a full house against Phillip Burch to put him as one of the overall leaders.
Two former RGPS Tunica champions remain in the field with Tiffany Keathley (240,000) and defending champion Max Le (92,000). Both are looking to add a second main event ring to their own illustrious resumes. Other players that made the Day 2 included BJ McBrayer (313,000), Wesley Jones (305,000), Mike Cordell (113,000), and Kaleb Dunn (70,000).
