Greer Shoves Into Top Set

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jesse Greer
Jesse Greer

Jesse Greer opened in early position and received a call from Max Le in the hijack.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Greer continuation-bet 70,000. Le called and the turn came {3-Diamonds}. Greer announced he was all in and Le immediately announced a call.

Greer: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Le: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Greer was drawing dead against Le's top set, picking up a useless {7-Clubs} as a consolation prize on the river. His stack was totaled to be 490,000 with Le's north of 500K, and he was eliminated from the tournament as a result.

Moments later, another payout call was heard from Table 24 as Alec Wilson was also eliminated by Le to bring the field down to 22. Then, Hao Zhu was seen making his way to the payouts, meaning 21 players now remain.

Cindrich Runs Into a Lady's Ladies

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Patrick Cindrich
Patrick Cindrich

Patrick Cindrich open-jammed for 370,000 from middle position and saw Teresa Lammie-Anders give him action on the button.

"Ace-Jack," said Cindrich as he showed {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

"Queens," responded Lammie-Anders, tabling {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

A jack in the window of {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} was as close as Cindrich would get after running {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} completed the board, spelling his elimination just moments after returning from the dinner break.

Wesley Jones was also eliminated from Table 22 moments later, bringing the field down to 24.

Kassela Puts Greer to the Test

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Matthew Kassela opened in the cutoff and received a call from Jesse Greer in the small blind. Action went heads up to a flop of {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Greer check-called a continuation-bet of Kassela's.

The turn came {4-Spades} and Greer check-called a second barrel from Kassela, bringing the river {5-Spades}. Greer checked for a third time and Kassela emptied the clip, putting the rest of his chips into the middle.

Greer went into the tank for a bit and eventually found a fold, earning Kassela the pot sans showdown.

Cindrich Crams on Cornelius

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Julie Cornelius saw action fold to her in the small blind and opened to 46,000. Patrick Cindrich called in the big blind and the two went to a flop of {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}. Cornelius continuation-bet 55,000 and Cindrich raised all in for 215,000.

"Pocket eights," said Cornelius as she slid her cards forward onto the felt.

Less than five minutes now remain until the dinner break: BJ McBrayer was eliminated in 27th place immediately play resumed from the redraw, and there have been no major pots of note on the three tables left in play since then.

Kenneth Nicoletti - Event 3
Kenneth Nicoletti - Event 3

Event #3: $185 RunGood DeepStack took center stage inside Horseshoe Tunica on Wednesday, drawing a massive 452 entries over the two flights the day offered. After those two flights finished, 62 players remained and advanced to Thursday's Day 2.

Sixteen of those players fell short of cashing, as the top 46 players made it into the money. RunGood Ambassadors Daniel Lowery (32nd - $334) and Julie Cornelius (29th - $378) were among those who accomplished that feat, only to fall short of the final table, and were also joined by Papa Karn (21st - $591), who cashed for his second time in the first three tournaments of the series.

However, it ultimately came down to heads-up play between Kenneth Nicoletti and Saeed Nia, and the two chopped up the remaining prize money to take home $12,238 apiece with Nicoletti claiming the first-place title and accompanying hardware.

Final Three Tables Reached

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Kevin Gray opened to 45,000 in the cutoff and was three-bet to 125,000 by Brock McCoy in the small blind. Gray called, and the flop came {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, where the remainder of Gray's chips got in.

Gray: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
McCoy: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Gray's tens were behind McCoy's queens and he found himself unable to improve further as the turn {4-Hearts} and river {9-Hearts} completed the runout.

Moments earlier, Dylan Lemery was also eliminated, and the pair of eliminations now brings the field down to 27. The tournament clock has been paused with 19:33 remaining in Level 21.
