The Curse is REAL
After being left short the previous hand, Kyle Kitagawa moved all in with his last 6,000 after a raise from Jeffrey Day. Both James Friesen and Day made the call to put him at risk and they went to a flop of 10?8?3?.
Day then moved all in for an additional 13,000 and Friesen made the call to put him at risk as well and the cards were tabled.
Kyle Kitagawa: A?2?
Jeffrey Day: K?K?
James Friesen: 3?4?
Day was well in the lead with his pocket kings, but Kitagawa could still hit any ace or club to win.
"If I win this, the curse isn't real!" he declared to accursed tablemate Jeff Platt, who looked on with a sick look of enjoyment in his eyes as someone's tournament life was on the line.
Unfortunately, the board ran out Q?9? for Day to scoop the pot and Kitagawa was sent to the rail.
