The RunGood Poker Series Checkpoint $700 Main Event at The Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa, sees the final day of play begin today at noon. The initial field of 605 has been reduced to just 74 players, each of whom is guaranteed $917, and all have eyes on a top prize of $68,799.
Leading the way with 1,083,000 is Matt Morfitt, whose monster chip lead puts him a good deal ahead of the rest of the field. Morfitt��s $203,228 lifetime The Hendon Mob earnings have multiple deep runs from RGPS, including two Main Event final tables from years prior. Given the large sum up top, his fourth cash of this week��s series looks to be a large one, and he will be a dangerous force in today��s field.
