After 16 levels of play, the field of 173 was brought down to just 21 contenders in Day 1b of The $800 RunGood Poker Series Main Event at Hollywood Casino in St. Louis, Missouri. These players will join those from yesterday��s flight as well as the two groups of players from tomorrow��s flights to be on Sunday, October 1st to play for a piece of the $200,000 guaranteed prizepool.
Leading the way is St. Louis regular Keith Heine who ended the day with 463,000. Throughout the day, Heine found himself raking in big pot after big pot, to keep himself at the top of the leaderboards. In the late stages of the night he found himself dipping down to 200,000, before bouncing back to the top of the counts at the end. With $519,557 in lifetime earnings, he now secures his first RGPS cash and looks to add another deep run to his highly decorated resume.

Others who found bags included Jason Rogers who finished just one chip shy of the chip lead with 462,000, WSOP Bracelet winner Jason Simon (368,000), Angela Jordison (302,000), Tim Garles (278,000), and Paul Belken (252,000). Each one of them looking to carve out a piece of RGPS history.
There were others who will need to look at tomorrow's flights to find a bag. Players like Mary Sturges, BJ McBrayer, Craig Welko, Preston McEwen, Cody Stanford, and WSOP bracelet winner Grant Hinkle. With unlimited re-entry into tomorrow��s flights, the players will find ample opportunity to play in their quest for a RGPS Main Event title.
Play ended with 28:00 in Level 16, which was three levels later than the prior flight. Play ended with 22:47 left in Level 13 in Day 1a with blinds at 3,000/5,000 with a 5,000 big blind ante. These 21 will return on Sunday at 12 pm and join the final players from the other flights at this level unless another flight ends prior to this one.
