Big Haul for Dump Truck; Winter Rewarded
Brian Winter opened to 3,500 preflop and was called by three players to see a flop of 3?Q?K?, which he then checked. Another player checked behind before Jason Reels took a stab at it by betting 6,000 and was then called by a player known only as 'Dump Truck' and Winter.
Then the player behind Winter moved all in for his last 13,500 and was called by Reels, but then 'Dump Truck' shoved over the top, totaling 83,000.
Winter quickly got out of the way but Reels went into the tank for a good bit, counting out the necessary chips. After around 30 seconds or so, he decided against it and tossed in his cards to let the other two sort it out.
Opponent: Q?J?
Dump Truck: 7?5?
"Damn!" Reels exclaimed as he folded the best hand, but he was quickly patting himself on the back when the turn rolled off the K?, giving Dump Truck the flush. Only a queen or king would save the at-risk player from elimination, but the river was the brick 4? and he was sent to the rail as the pot was unloaded in front of Dump Truck.
Winter, who was very proud of himself for making a spectacular fold (A?Q?), was then rewarded for his brilliance the very next hand when he doubled with pocket kings.
