Day 2 of RGPS Council Bluffs Main Event Fires Off at Noon - Can Kopp Score Another?
The RunGood Poker Series Destination: Council Bluffs sees the final day of play begin today at noon. The initial field of 648 has been reduced to just 80 players, each of them looking to emerge as the champion.
Leading the charge is Nick Barksdale with an impressive stack of 824,000. Barksdale is no stranger to tournament poker as his Hendon Mob puts him at just under $400,000 in earnings. Behind him is local Stephen 'Concrete Steve' Moy with 693,000 and in third is Abbas Pasha with 641,000. Judging by the way the flights have been going, today is going to be full of action with a lot of intuitive poker being played. Another player not to overlook is 2023 Spring Champ Joshua Kopp who is still in the running coming back with 167,000 and is definitely looking to get a second title.
