The RunGood Poker Series Returns to Hard Rock Tulsa Today for the $600 Main Event!

The RunGood Poker Series at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma returns tonight for the first of three starting flights for the stop's main event. With a championship ring up for grabs alongside the $100,000 guaranteed prize-pool, this $600 event is sure to bring out a lot of familiar faces and ring winner's from past RGPS seasons, adding to the stop's already fun and family-like atmosphere at the tables.

This main event will carry a bit of added value as well as the eventual winner will also win a seat into the invitation-only Dream Seat event that runs next month. The eventual winner of that tournament will then win a seat into the 64-player capped field PokerGo Invitational $1,000,000 guaranteed freeroll, meaning that taking down this event could be a ticket to life-changing money for whoever goes home with the title.

The RGPS Tulsa Main Event champion from earlier this year in Janurary was Pete Petree, who navigated his way through a 649 entry field to claim the title, the ring and the $62,911 first-place prize after three days of action in the heart of America. That event absolutely demolished the $100,000 guarantee by creating a total prize-pool worth $337,480 and this event is expected to be much the same as the guarantee is expected to be left in the dust once again after what is sure to be an impressive turnout.

Players expected to take their seats and chase a main event title include all-time RGPS ring leader Brian Frenzel(who already added to his ring count this stop), Liam Gannon, and RunGood Ambassadors Justin Gardenhire, Daniel Lowery, Julie Cornelius, Ross Bybee and 2004 WSOP Main Event champion Greg Raymer. While this is a short list of notable names expected at the tables tonight to kick off the main event, the RunGood Poker Series is known for it community of regulars at all stops and it's safe to say that every table will end up being a family-like atmosphere filled with familiar faces, laughter and big pots.

Play will kick off at 6:00 p.m. CST with 30-minute levels and blinds of 100/200 and a big blind ante of 200. Play will continue until 12.5% of the field remains, at which point the remaining players bag for the Day 2 session on Sunday, so keep it locked to PokerNews for up-to-date coverage of the RunGood Poker Series Tulsa Main Event!
