The reigning GPI Mid-Major Poker Tour of the year made their East Coast debut this week, as the RunGood Poker Series has been hosting a tournament series at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek all week long as part of their Comeback Tour powered by PokerGo. The biggest event on the docket, Event #4: $600 Main Event, which boasts a $50,000 guarantee, kicks off today with Day 1a beginning at 10 a.m. EST.

Players will begin with 20,000 in tournament chips, and blinds will begin at 100/100 and increase every thirty-minutes during Day 1 flights. Late registration and unlimited re-entry are available until the start of Level 9, or approximately 2:30 p.m. EST. Day 1 will conclude at the end of Level 14 or at the Tournament Director's discretion. All players that advance from today's Day 1a flight or tomorrow's Day 1b flight (which also kicks off at 10 a.m. EST) to Day 2 will return at 11 a.m. EST on Sunday, August 29th and play down to a winner. Players may bag and play a subsequent starting flight advancing their best stack forward to Day 2. The winner of the Main Event, along with the eventual Casino Champion, will earn seats into the All-Stars ProAm event, a 64-player capped event in December streamed from inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As usual at RunGood Poker Series events, a lively crew of players are expected on site to fire this weekend, including former Survivor: Redemption Island champ "Boston" Rob Mariano, RecPoker Founder Steve Fredlund, Florida pro and six-time WSOP Circuit Ring winner John Holley, and former Director of Poker Operations for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa Tommy Bates, among others.

PokerNews will be on site all weekend long providing updates from start to finish on all three days of the Main Event, so be sure to stay tuned, as cards will be in the air shortly!
