"That Was a Bad Time to Bluff"
Level 19
: 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Kris Burchfield opened for 25,000 from the cutoff and Jon Lawson defended his big blind. The flop came and both players checked.
When the hit the turn, Lawson led out for 25,000 and Burchfield quickly called.
On the river, Lawson led again, this time for 40,000.
Burchfield tossed in a chip to indicate a call and Lawson said, "You're good."
Burchfield tabled for a rivered straight and Lawson mucked.
"That was a bad time to bluff," Lawson admitted. "Why do I do stupid shit like that?"
