O'Dwyer made the final table with the second-place stack, trailing only start-of-day leader Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo, after he busted high-stakes cash reg Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves with kings over ace-queen.

Fortune continued smiling upon O'Dwyer when another cash beast, Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger opted to limp in and O'Dwyer was able to flop a boat for cheap out of the small blind with seven-four suited. He played it slow and got a check-raise paid on the river to vie with Pardo for the lead.

After Loeliger went down in eighth, Drinan bluffed off his stack with a missed gutter, overbetting the river and failing to get through against Pedro "PaDiLhA SP" Padilha.

O'Dwyer finished him off with aces and then another big pocket pair, this time kings again, paid off when Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof flatted a raise and then shoved over O'Dwyer's squeeze with ace-queen. O'Dwyer had 40% of the chips five-handed.

However, a chance to have more than half of the chips three-handed went by the wayside when Pascal "Pass_72" Lefrancois was able to crack O'Dwyer's pocket nines with pocket sevens. A perfectly laid trap looked to have paid off until a seven flopped, and it was back to the grind for O'Dwyer with a below-average stack.

Fortunately for O'Dwyer, he chipped up some while Pardo scored the next two eliminations, and the two high-stakes tournament regs each had a familiar foe heads up. While O'Dwyer started down more than 2-to-1, the match was fairly one-sided in his favor as he had the lead after about half an hour.

With his stack slipping, Pardo opted to go for a large bluff on a highly coordinated board, but O'Dwyer nailed a flush on the river and bet-called for stacks to secure the win for his second title of the series.
