After three thrilling days of action, the stage has been set for a new champion to be crowned in the 2023 Spring Championship of Online Poker Main Event L, with final table action slated for 12:30 pm ET.
Of the original 22,663 entries into the field, just nine remain. They have each locked up at least $15,503.75 for simply making the final table. They will all be looking to be the last player standing in order to claim the first place prize of $232,581.89. When play resumes, they will be in Level 56, with blinds of 700,000 and 1,400,000 with an ante of 175,000.
Yesterday's action saw the field whittled down from 157 players to the nine remaining now. There was plenty of action as the final table approached, with a number of players neck and neck for the chip lead throughout much of the day. Day 2 chip leader "Sodaski" remained in the picture throughout the day, bagging the second largest stack. Daniel "dani aziz" Aziz held a sizable lead at one point, after his aces held up against queens and big slick for a massive pot and double knockout. However, it was "PokerHorst" who ultimately bagged the chip lead, taking 115,519,128 to the final table.
