Here's your random factoid for the day. Each of the first two champions at this year's Seneca Fall Poker Classic won with a spade flush in their final hand both coming on the river.
On Saturday, Scott Hosbach took down Event #1 after a four-handed deal at the final table. The final hand of the tournament saw Hosbach move all in blind with the , Brian McCormick call with the , and Shogie Saysamone peek down at pocket sixes and call as well. Hosback rivered a flush on the board to end the tournament.
Last night's Event #2 came to an exciting conclusion when Darrin Bracken moved all in on a board with the . Michael Sweeney snap-called with the for a set, but the landed on the river to deliver Bracken's flush.
Event #2 winner Darrin Bracken is in the building, looking to win back-to-back titles much like fellow Seneca regular Joe Ciffa did at the 2014 Seneca Summer Slam.
