Dinner Break

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Just 18 players remain in this first event of the 2015 Western New York Poker Challenge and each and every one has headed off on a 45-minute dinner break.

Triple Barrel

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Jeffery Hobrecker just widened the gap between himself and the rest of the field, busting Emilio Zeolla in the process.

Hobrecker ran what appeared to be a triple barrel bluff, betting all three streets on a {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} board. He even went as far as shoving on the river, sheepishly turning over {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} when Zeolla called all in for his tournament life in an attempt to pick him off.

Zeolla showed {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and a lot of guts, but his pair of threes was not enough of a hand to keep him in the tournament.

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Jeff Joseph just collected another players stack turning {a-}{10-} into trip tens with top kicker and getting his opponent to call off his remaining chips.

He now stands among the chip leaders.
