Two More Starting Flights on Another Day of the The Hendon Mob Championship CHF 300 Main Event
The sun has risen above the Swiss mountains overlooking Grand Casino Liechtenstein, which means another day of the The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) is on the cards. Two more starting flights of the CHF 300 ($332) Main Event will start today, with Day 1e taking place at 1 p.m. and Day 1f starting at 6 p.m. local time.
A busy day is expected, as only three more starting flights remain to hit the CHF 200,000 guaranteed prize pool. So far, 270 entries have been made across the four starting days, which means the organization is still some ways off from not paying the field some extra prize money in overlay.
PokerNews focus will lay on the afternoon flight of Day 1e, while an eye will be kept on Day 1f every now and then as well. This also marks the last Day 1 being reported upon, as the series is rapidly heading towards Day 2.

Yesterday, June 2nd, saw Day 1c and 1d play from start to finish. Day 1c knew a relatively small field of 37 players, of which 11 advanced to Day 2. All players started with 50,000 chips and Zuelfuekar Kalmaz ended up as chip leader, with 281,000 chips in his bag at the end of Level 14, resulting in 47 big blinds for Day 2. However, that was not enough to crack the top ten chip counts of Day 1a and 1b, as he just fell outside of them in 11th place.
Meanwhile, the evening flight of Day 1d boasted a bigger field of 86 entries, of which 20 players survived. Silas Germann seized the chip lead in that flight, taking 478,000 chips into Day 2, enough to occupy a third place on the overall leaderboard. Germann busted fairly late on Day 1c, but evidently, his luck turned around in the next flight. All of the players who bagged and tagged join those who shared their fate in Day 1a and 1b, creating a total of 63 players who have qualified so far. Full chip counts of Day 1c can be found in the live report of that flight, while Day 1ds are posted below this introduction.
In the meantime, the overall top ten leaderboard has taken a new form:

Day 1f will then start five hours later at 6 p.m. and will know the same structure. Both flights have an option for two reentries, which players can make use of throughout the late registration period of ten levels.
