Clementi Pumps Up the Aggression
Leonard Clementi was just seen taking down a pot versus an opponent on the turn with a pair of aces on board. Clementi bet, was check-raised, and then took down the pot with a three-bet that got his opponent to fold.
On the very next hand, Clementi opened the action with a raise to 300 in the cutoff and was called by the player on the button. Clementi's opponent from the prior hand three-bet to 1,300 in the small blind and saw both players call, taking action three ways to a flop of . The small blind made a continuation-bet of 1,300 and Clementi called.
After the player on the button folded, action went heads up to the turn where both players checked. The river came and the small blind checked again. Clementi reached for chips, grabbing enough to bet 4,000 and tossing them into the middle.
"Fold," said the small blind from the one-seat. The dealer looked for confirmation of what he said through the Plexiglas, and he moved his hand onto his cards and slid them forward to the muck for confirmation.
