Day 1c of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Sycuan $1,100 Main Event saw the largest field of the three opening flights with 212 entries filling the Sycuan Casino Resort ballroom.

With 410,000 chips, Scott Sisler narrowly edged Jeffrey Jordan (409,000) for the honor of taking the flights largest stack into Sundays final day of play.

Leading the other notables into Day 2 is 4-time WSOP bracelet winner Adam Friedman, who will bring 225,000 chips with him as he looks to make his 9th MSPT final table on Sunday.

The battle for the chip lead was fierce all day, with several players holding top spot throughout the day, but not all even making it to Day 2. Brandon Lee was one of the fortunate ones, finishing 4th on the day with 331,000 chips, many of them coming from a big hand late in the day.

Others like Ed Alikhani, who at one point had double his next closest competitor early in the day and was the first to 200,000, found themselves out the door before the night was done.
