Hao Wins From Holz
Fedor Holz is not getting things all his own way on the final table and Su Hao is fighting back, taking down a decent sized pot from the chip leader at the close of level 17.
We missed the pre-flop action but caught the action on the flop with over 40,000 in blinds and antes in the pot and the community cards spread just as Holz checked the action over to Hao.
The Chinese player thought it over and decided a half pot sized bet of 20,000 was in order, only to see Holz check raise to 108,000 in total.
This sent Hao deep into the tank where he remained for a minute before counting out the call and sliding the chips into the center of the table.
The turn saw Holz think things over before deciding to check, which opened the door for Hao, who decided to put the German to the test and he moved all-in for 331,000 in total.
Holz looked interested and you could see the wheels turning as he tried to put Hao on a hand but eventually decided not to risk it and folded, leaving Hao to rake in the pot and climb to 570,000 while Holz dropped to 930,000.
