Stealth Boat for Greenwood, Field Grows to 18
We caught an interesting hand at the close of level one between Lucas Greenwood and Steve O’Dwyer, the latter of whom was the pre-flop aggressor after opening the action to 500 from under-the-gun with Greenwood (big blind) the only customer.
Greenwood checked the flop over to O’Dwyer, who chose to continuation bet 700 into the 1,000-pot with Greenwood tossing out a quick call.
The turn brought a second check from Greenwood and O’Dwyer checked it right back bringing both players to the river. The Canadian player now led, throwing out two red 1k chips for a bet of 2,000 into the 2,500 pot.
O’Dwyer looked pained over the decision but grudgingly threw in the call and looked as shocked as the rest of the table when Greenwood flipped over for a turned full house. Greenwood climbed to roughly 55,000 while O’Dwyer looked to have around 45,000 after the hand.
The field has now grown to three six-handed tables of 18 players in total with Alexandros Kolonias, Benjamin Wu, Su Hao, and Vlado Banicevic all taking their seats. We will endeavor to update the player list when we get a full copy later or as players sit down.
