Tom Dwan made it 80,000 in the first position, Gabe Patgorski flatted in the cutoff and Mikita Badziakouski jammed his 320,000 on the button. Dwan slid forward a pile of chips to cover Patgorski's stack and Patgorski was prepared to go in a three-way battle.

The flop came down and Badziakouski was amazed. He asked if there was any card that could help him and Dwan offered an ace. But the turn left him drawing dead as Patgorski was guaranteed to win. Dwan could still chop if a queen hit the river but the left Patgorski with the whole 1.4 million pot while Badziakouski left the stage.
The final seven players took a short break in order to get redrawn to the final table.
