The 2022 PokerStars UKIPT London 1,100 Main Event recommences at noon local time with 128 players out of 645 entries remaining. It won't be far until the money bubble as the top 95 finishers will receive a portion of the 619,200 prize pool, which should make for an exciting opening stage of the marquee event in the Hippodrome Casino in the heart of London.

Leading the field into Day 2 is Day 1a chip leader Ben Slack with 479,500, followed by Alberto Speranzoni (465,000) and Alexios Zervos (425,000). More than one dozen contenders have more than 100 big blinds at their disposal for the first level of the day and that also includes the two former WSOP Main Event finalists Antoine Labat and Antoine Saout, who reside in 6th and 7th place respectively.

Four PokerStars ambassadors and two staff members have reached the penultimate day spearheaded by Parker Talbot (198,000) and Sam Grafton (193,000). Steve Enriquez made it through via the last chance turbo heat with 113,500 while Benjamin Spragg advanced from Day 1b with a stack of 104,500. PokerStars Senior Twitch & Ambassadors Associate Brandon Nguyen (91,000) and Ido Alon (87,500) round up the line-up of half a dozen red spade representatives.

The action will recommence with blinds of 1,500-3,000 and a big blind ante of 3,000. All levels as of Day 2 and until the conclusion of the tournaments are 60 minutes long and there will be a break every two levels. It appears that at least ten levels will be played with the aim of reaching the nine-handed final table.

It will be another busy day at the former theatre near Leicester Square as a Mystery Bounty will certainly attract a large crowd. Stay tuned for all the action from London as the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor from start to finish.
