Welcome to Day 2 of the PokerStars Summer Festival Malta �1,100 Main Event
The PokerStars Summer Festival Malta, running at the InterContinental Hotel, continues today with Day 2 of the Main Event starting at 12 p.m. local time.
All four starting flights have now finished. However, late registration stays open for the first two levels of Day 2, and so the number of entries and total prize pool are not yet fully confirmed.
So far though, a total of 814 entries were made in the opening days, making for a prize pool of �732,600. Of those, 270 players made it through their respective flights to earn a seat, .
The full prize pool and payouts will be available on PokerNews shortly after they are announced.
Enrico Olivieri of Italy has emerged as the overall chip leader heading into Day 2. He'll be sitting down with 375,000 chips. Currently in second place is Tiago Luis of Portugal with 340,000, followed by Maher Achour of Tunisia with 335,000 chips.
Blinds on Day 2 will start at level 11 on 1,000/1,500 with a 1,500 big blind ante and will run for 60-minutes with a break every two levels. There will be 10 levels played today. Whoever survives will make it through to Day 3 and the business end of the tournament.
Away from the tables, players can explore the stunning Mediterranean island, take a jet ski ride, or put their feet up and relax in the Player's Lounge. The official PokerStars Padel tournament is also running today for those who want to try their hand at the racket sport.
